Mission Complete!
FINALLY! After a week of obstacles, it's done. My first ever baby blanket. My very own creation. Yes, I could nit pick. It's not 100% perfect. BUT. I am in love!

Busy Bee
Lately I have been all over the place. I've been getting so many migraines, it's hard to focus and accomplish anything. Right now I have started some new projects for a baby shower I have next week. I'm a little nervous as the one item will actually be MINE, pattern and all! It's exciting but as with anyone, I am my own worst critic.
I have also been distracted. I've come across some awesome cooking blogs. I have my eldest daughter's birthday coming up and this is definitely one thing that I will make for it, Pizza dip from Closet Cooking!

Hat Love
I am definitely all for instant gratification. So, I wasn't sure I would like crocheting things because it takes so long to see the finished product. Boy was I wrong! This is the main reason I am so obsessed with making hats. I love them! They work up quick and look amazing.

Long day, easy dinner
Today was one of those days. You know the kind. The one where you get nothing productive done because you've decided to direct your energy towards the kids. And then 5 o'clock hits and you're thinking, "It's bedtime, right?". Wrong. It's....dun, dun, DUN! DINNER TIME!!
Yes. This was our day. We had a great play date with some wonderful friends. As the dinner hour approached I was feeling more and more exhausted. I won't lie. I reached for the phone. Nothing is easier than take out!
But then the guilt struck. My kids deserve more than take out. They deserve a home cooked meal. A healthy meal.
So off to the kitchen I went.
I grabbed what I saw:
Onions
Potatoes
Garlic
Chicken
Finely chopped the onions and sauteed them with the garlic in my Wild Tree Roasted Garlic Grapeseed oil (which by the way is AMAZING!). After the onions were soft I threw in the chicken.
I cut up and boiled the potatoes.
Which, as you can see, I had lots of help with!
annnnnd VOILA!
As you can see below, it was a big hit with everyone (which is rare!).
Got a thumbs up from Ori!

And what meal wouldn't be complete without bread and butter?

Starting an Adventure
Life has been monotonous. Wake up, take care of the kids, clean the house, sleep, then repeat. Over and over and over. It's time for something new. It's time for an ADVENTURE!
So here I go. Starting off on my own. With a blog and an idea for a small business, this is the story of my adventure.
